Techniques and Innovation

Applicable to any type of glasses and bottles

SCREEN PRINTING

This most widespread application in recent decades. This automatic or semi-automatic process uses a screen to allow enamels and precious metals to reach the glass. It can be used to print up to 8 colors with enamels, precious metals (between 550ºC and 620ºC)  and also organic / UV inks up to 4 colours (max. 200ºC). Fits perfectly cylindrical conical or slightly tapered glass.

DIGITAL PRINTING

It brings multiple applications such as printing on complex and larger areas than traditional screen printing, performing embossing touch and decorating over glass reliefs. All the colors from the Pantone chart can be used (except metals) without limitation of number of colors, allowing decoration with 10, 20, 50 or more colors. This technology is developed without screens and without oven, having a very reduced environmental impact compared to traditional decoration.

DECAL

Decals are flat images that are applied manually or semi-automatically. They are used in complex decorations, in areas where screen printing fails and also for small seriees with several colors, regardless of the container shape. Vitrifiable decals can be made up to 8 colours with enamels and precious metals (between 550ºC and 620ºC) and organic inks or UV (max. 200ºC).

TRANSFER / DECAL
TAMPOGRAPHIC PRINTING

PAD PRINTING

Is an automatic or semi-automatic application that makes it possible to transfer decoration through a silicone pad to areas where the screen printing fails, especially non-cylindrical containers, hollow or narrow areas.

COATINGS

Is a more environmentally friendly process than the acid etching and can be applieed in a variety of colors and finishes (transparent, opaque, frosted...). It is usually availble in its organic version (max. 200ºC).

COATINGS
ACID ETCHING

ACID ETCHING

Gives a matte frosted or icy effect to the glass container as well as a special touch. A decoration can be added with any type of printing.

Applicable only to drinking glasses

LASER NUCLEATED

Mainly used in glassware for beer or sparkling wines, it is applied inside the glass and maintains the continuous effervescence of the liquid. Its color resembles the acid finish and allows simple image or logo printing.

LASER NUCLEATED
GOLD WIRE

GOLD RIM

Beer glassware, where its use is more extensive, uses gold thread to give the product a “premium” value. The gold rim is applied by an automatic or semi-automatic machine along the mouth of the cup or glass.

GAUGE-LINE

Mainly used in drinking glassware for alcoholic beverages to control the volume of the product in the cup or glass. Automaticallly or semi-automatically applied by screen printing or laser printing.
