Techniques and Innovation

Applicable to any type of glasses and bottles

DIRECT SCREEN PRINTING

This is the most widely used application in recent decades by the vast majority of glass decorators. The means of production are automatic or semiautomatic. This process is done through silkscreen allowing the printing of enamels and precious metals on the glass. We can print up to 8 colors with enamels, precious metals (between 550ºC and 620ºC)  and also with organic inks (200ºC). They fit perfectly for cylindrical glasses, tapered or slightly conical.

DIRECT SCREEN PRINTING
TAMPOGRAPHIC PRINTING

TAMPOGRAPHIC PRINTING

This is an automatic or semiautomatic application for transferring the decoration through a silicone buffer/stamp on areas where the silkscreen printing fails, especially on non-cylindrical containers or on convex or concave areas.

TRANSFER / DECAL

This is an image produced on a flat screen. Its application is mainly manual or semiautomatic. It is suitable for complex decorations; for areas where the direct screen printing are not reachable and also for small decoration runs with numerous colours regardless the shape of the container. Decals can be printed with enamels and precious metals (between 550ºC and 620ºC) as well as organic inks (200ºC).

TRANSFER / DECAL
ACID ETCHING

ACID ETCHING

Provides a frosted or icy effect giving a special touch to the glass container. Acid etching can be totally or partially done and customized with any type of printing.

COATINGS

A more ecofriendly process than acid etching which offers a large variety of colors and finishes (transparent, opaque, acid etch ...). Commonly found in the organic version, but exist also in coloured enamels.

COATINGS

Applicable only to drinking glasses

LASER NUCLEATED

Mainly used in the brewing and sparkling wine glasses, the application of the laser spot will maintain continuous effervescence of the liquid in the glass, cup or flute. The laser nucleated is done in the bottom inside the glass. The colour is like an acid etching and we are also able to print the customer logo.
